About FreeSvea

Greetings fellow bloggers!

If you visit, please drop me a line and say hello. Would love to know there are others out there and that I’m not typing into space.

Since I started this blog, its focus has changed a bit. Originally I intended it to be primarily a place of self-expression. Although it still is, it has now more of a focus on health related issues. More specifically, issues I have personal experience in.

I’m a counsellor, and have a Bachelor in Behavioural Science and a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. I have also been physically unwell for many years. What started out as inadequately treated Hypothyroidism and Hashimoto’s, later turned into Adrenal Fatigue and severe Burnout, and eventually Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS).

I’ve tried psychotherapy, counselling, mainstream western medicine, reflexology, meditation, reiki, naturopathy, homeopathy, astrology; I’ve seen psychics, and kinesiologists, GPs and specialists. I’ve tried numerous medications, supplements and herbs. And I’m still open to trying new things in my quest for health and wellbeing. Leave no stone unturned.

I hope to share with you what I’ve learned so far from my trials and errors, and I hope to use this outlet as a way to break out and break free from physical as well as mental and societal constraints. This is not a blog about me being physically unwell. This is a blog about me reconnecting with my true self, the one I seem to have lost or forgotten along the way. About the Me that used to not care what others thought, and the Me that was bright and creative. About the Me that wasn’t afraid to speak my truth and be real.

What do I indeed need to be freed from? Like so many others I exist in a kind of self imposed prison. I could blame people from my past, my parents, even friends, society in general. I could blame a past life, psychology, and genetics. Yes, it may even feel good to blame all these. And I’m not saying these are not to blame. But there comes a point when it doesn’t matter who’s to blame, and we simply must do something about changing our current circumstances.

So if you know something about being free, or if you, like me, want to abandon the cage you’ve built for yourself, then drop by and say hello.

To your Health & Happiness,

Svea

  1. Wow,

I am lost for words, perhaps because of being on the same path.

One thing that has been a big help is becoming an educated consumer of health care.

Found you from your post on Glutathione. It is so easy to forget to take the supplements when feeling well. For me, they help. It does not matter if I get the glutathione boosting benefits from food or from supplements. The food is preferred though.

I have not heard of the patches though and am curious.

Best wishes and how ever you fare, may you fare well.

      Hi Jonathan,

What would you like to know about the patches? They use nano-technology to stimulate acupuncture and meridian points on the body. So in this sense it combines modern western technology with ancient eastern medicine.

      Feel free to ask anything.

Hello. I have read through some of your stuff and I feel a connection with many of the things you are saying. My journey led me to a reawakening of who I am and my place here in this world. I started chiropractic school earlier this year, as my own trials with western medicine led me to look into things a little deeper. I think that we could learn from each other. I very much enjoy this blog and hope to share ideas, and read your future posts. You have a great story.

  2. Hi Svea,

Is there any scientific literature on them. What is the brand name? Where do you get them?

Was thinking, if you watch movies, you might want to see The Legend of Bagger Vance.

    Then see Lornezo’s Oil

Unrelated to each other, they may help you on your journey.

Hi Jonathan, I’ve sent you an email with the info you asked for. Let me know if you haven’t got it.

I’d like the same info Svea. are there any doctors in Boston, Cleveland that are working with the patches? Dr. Teitelbaums energy revitalization vitamin powder is working great for me already.

        I’ll be reading you!

Watch for my blog, it’s a memoir. i am a journalist (well used to be.)

        Hi Kasha,

If it was research you were after visit the lifewave site http://www.lifewave.com and scroll down to the bottom. There is a list of links including one that says Research & Studies, that should be a good start.

I only know of one doctor you works witht he patches and she is in Adelaide, Australia. Again the lifewave site might be the best place to start. You could perhaps email them and ask if they know of any doctors in your area using the patches.

Personally I’m no longer using the patches. I wasn’t drinking enough water for them to work. Have moved on to other things.

I am so interested in trying the glutathione patches but they are expensive. The price on the lightwaves site is $82, including shipping & handling for a month supply(30 patches) Yet, on Synergy 1st they sell the same 30 for a couple of dollars less BUT state that the 30 can last for 2 months. What do you think? I am a 63 yr old female who has stress in her life (don’t we all?) and work full time.

      Hi Joedy,

I have actually not used the patches for a very long time now. My conclusion was that I personally couldn’t feel a significant difference. Not enough to use them. You need to drink a lot of water for them to work. At least 2 litres per day,a nd at least one full glass before you apply the patches. The supporters of the patches will tell you that if you don’t feel the patches are working you must not be drinking enough water, or you’ve applied the patches incorrectly. This may very well be true, but who’s to say? Unless you have someone (like a sponsor) who you can meet with, who can check if you are applying hte patches correctly, it’s hard to be sure. They say it is supposed to be easy. So I suppose what I would suggest is that if you want to give them a go, try them out for 2-3 months and if you don’t feel better, then don’t use them. But be sure to drink heaps of water.

The thing is that if you do not already drink a lot of water and you suddenly started drinking 2 litres per day, you are automatically going to feel better, because most of us are dehydrated and water is very important.

In regards to which company you should buy the patches from I would go for whatever is cheaper. I don’t know of Synergy 1st. Do they sell the lifewave patches or their own brand? If they sell lifewave patches cheaper than lifewave, I guess go for it. BUt don’t buy a bunch of packs at once, or you might end up with lots left over if you decide they don’t work for you.

I still have about 10 packs of different patches, I guess I could try using them again, but I don’t really feel inspired to do so. Hope that all helps. Feel free to ask more questions.

At the moment I’m going to be trying our Dr Rashid Buttar’s approach, which is that all disease comes from toxicity, primarily heavy metals and popular organic pollutants like pesticides etc. However he also says they are very difficult to treat effectively so you must find a doctor who really knows what they are doing. Basically you need to see him at his practice or one of the handful of doctors he has trained. I’m not sure where his practice is located other than that it is in the US, so not acessible to me. But I’m reaing his book and will try to do some research in this area, before I try to find a doctor in Australia that does detox to Dr Buttar’s standards.

The other thing I’m looking into atm is ionized water, also known as alkalinized or Kangen water. Will post when I know more.
